Be part of the fun
Weird and wonderful vegetables will be judged at the Harvest Festival on Taranaki Anniversary Day, Monday 12 March, 2012. There are great garden prizes to be won! Categories will include:
- Biggest vegetable
- Cute vegetable
- Most unusual vegetable
- Most perfect vegetable
- Best vegetable creation
The Harvest Festival will also feature:
- Art and craft from local craftsfolk
- Fresh seasonal produce from Farmers Market Taranaki
- Seedsaving and edible ornamental demonstrations
- Garden walk & talk
- Morris Dancers
- American Roots Music (Country and Bluegrass) from The FEDZ
- Kids activities and entertainment with The Magical Flower Fairies (pictured)
The event will go ahead rain or shine.
