Hollard Gardens is an ideal venue for weddings and other private functions, with an events pavilion on the main lawn offering catering facilities and toilets.
Just bear in mind that the property will always be open to the public from 9am to 5pm daily, with no entry charge.

Conditions
The hirer has sole responsibility for:
- Hiring, setting up and removing any temporary structures eg marquees or portaloos that may be required.
- Making arrangements for catering, beverages, liquor licences etc.
- Ensuring that the site is cleared and all rubbish is removed from the gardens after the function. Any extra costs incurred in cleaning up the site will be recovered from the hirer by the Taranaki Regional Council.
- Traffic management and parking. The Taranaki Regional Council is to be informed of the traffic plans.
If the booking is cancelled within seven days of the event, the hire fee will not be refunded.

Garden wedding ceremonies
$100 + GST (Bond: $200 + GST)
Garden functions (including wedding receptions)
$400 + GST (Bond: $800 + GST)

Q Is power available for music?
A Yes, power is available at the Events Pavilion
Q Can we decorate the Gazebo for our wedding ceremony?
A Yes, as long as you tidy up afterwards.
Q Is extra seating available?
A Apart from existing garden furniture, 50 stackable chairs are stored in the Events Pavilion and are available for use.
Q Can people with disabilities be driven down to the main lawn for events?
A Yes, a driveway at the south end of the car park leads to the Events Pavilion.
Q What if we're planning an outside wedding and it rains on the day?
A We always advise people to have an alternative venue organised. If necessary, we will put signage in the car park directing your guests to the alternative venue.
