Taranaki Tree Trust

The Taranaki Tree Trust is a charitable trust, dedicated to the preservation and development of the region's ecosystems and landscapes. The Taranaki Regional Council administers and services the Taranaki Tree Trust and provides a Taranaki Tree Trust Facilitator.

The Tree Trust assists land owners with the purchase and protection of valuable forest remnants and wildlife habitats. The Tree Trust also helps with fencing and planting of riparian (streambank) margins and the protection of forest and wetland remnants through fencing or covenanting.
