Teacher workshops 2008

The Taranaki Regional Council is pleased to be able to offer the following opportunities for teachers to increase their skills in environmental education related fields. Full details, including registration details, will be in the SITE newsletter at the beginning of the term prior to the course. You may wish to discuss the dates with your Principal/ Professional Development Manager and enter the dates in your diary now. Places for each course will be strictly limited.

What's in our streams?
This session is suitable for primary and intermediate teachers.
Where: Session 1 - Patea River at Stratford
  Session 2 - Peters Road near old Kaimiro School
When: Session 1 - Thursday 14 February (1pm - 4pm)
  Session 2 - Tuesday 19 February (2pm - 4pm)
 
Rocky shore
This session is suitable for primary and intermediate teachers.
Where: Kawaroa Reef, New Plymouth
When: Thursday 21 February (4pm - 6pm)
 
Trees and the environment
This session is suitable for primary, intermediate and secondary teachers.
Where: Various sites
When: Thursday 15 May (1pm - 4pm) (Note new date)
 
Waste minimisation and recycling
This session is suitable for primary, intermediate and secondary teachers.
Where: Taranaki Emergency Management Office, New Plymouth
When: Thursday 4 September (1pm - 4pm) (New date)
