The Council focuses on sustainable land management in its work with dairy farmers, which focuses primarily on the management of riparian margins.
The Council and other organisations also publish guides intended to assist dairy farmers comply with regional rules and consent conditions pertaining to effluent treatment and disposal, water quality, air quality and soil health.
